The heart of the refinery, FCC equipment has become our specialty. An industry leader in fully completed and assembled equipment, we take pride in our ability to manage the increasing challenges that large equipment fabrication entails. Whether you’re looking for a new Wye Blind and Distributor or a completed Reactor-Stripper, we have the experience and resources to meet your project needs.
HSI was established in 1988 as a Fired Heater fabricator. What set us apart was our commitment to perform all refractory installation with full-time HSI employees. We are one of a select few fabrication companies who has the capabilities and experience to self-perform refractory installation. This approach helps keep schedules and costs in our control and removes the uncertainty of subcontracting. Combining our experience with our innovative maximum shop assembly method reduces costs for our customers.
Always a challenge, transportation can make or break a project. With access to the Port of Catoosa, we can help take the guess work out of the transportation equation. Whether we simply help coordinate our clients logistics, or we manage the transportation phase of a project, our experience handling large equipment is an often overlooked HSI asset.
We fabricate custom designed equipment from carbon steel to high alloy and duplex materials. Often, projects require additional design and validation of previous designs. We have multiple engineers on staff and utilize state of the art technologies to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other calculations to meet customer needs. Our primary software packages are Codeware COMPRESS, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, PV Elite, Ansys and several others. We take a meticulous approach with creative solutions to solve complex problems. Our goal is to work closely with clients and their Engineering Companies to deliver an excellent mechanical design package.
Design & Expertise
With multiple Ceramic Engineers on staff, and involvement with development and application of API-936, our refractory technology far exceeds that of others in our industry. This translates to better system design, installation, quailty, and equipment reliablity.
